Yes — no credit card required, no trial period. The free tier is genuinely functional: 2 bank connections, 8 tracked items, and 5 agent questions per month. Most households use it to understand what they want before deciding to upgrade.
What does read-only bank access mean?
ScionHome connects via Plaid and can see your transactions — but cannot move money, initiate transfers, or make payments. Ever. We use this access to identify your recurring bills, detect rate changes, and flag anomalies. That's it.
When will paid plans be available?
We're finalizing billing infrastructure now. Everyone who joins during early access gets Pro free until billing launches — and we'll email you before anything changes. No surprise charges.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, always. No contracts, no cancellation fees. If you cancel a paid plan, you drop back to the free tier and keep your data. We never delete your household history.
What counts as a "tracked item"?
Each recurring bill, insurance policy, subscription, or maintenance item is one tracked item. Your electric bill is one item. Your homeowner's insurance is another. Custom manually-added items count too. The free tier limit of 8 covers most basic households.
